Dreams came true last weekend when I got to see one of my favortie musicians perform at 94.7 radio station's location (hey that rhymed). Such an amazing performer who's velvety vocals are ever trancing. His heart and profound messages are perfectly laid out within each song in his new album "Radius". I cant get over his retro-soul vibe and this album, its so good! I've got "Circle" and "Upside" on repeat.

Last weekend went to 930 club in DC to see Augustana live for the first time. Let me start off saying that its always a great experience seeing shows at 930. Its the perfect size for a venue, its big enough to have a nice crowd, but small enough for that intimate feeling, its an all around great venue!

So these three young talented girls you see up there^ call themselves Say Chance. With just an acoustic guitar and 2 voices, they did a wonderful job opening up for Augustana. I checked out a few of their videos the day before the show and I immediately loved their style and original songs. Unfortunately there were a few technical difficulties with the mic but despite that problem, they managed to still deliver a beautiful show. 

Well just wanted to share these lovely voices with ya guys. I have to keep this short cause I have to head out soon but over all show was unbelievable, especially seeing Graffiti6 perform. Here are a few other pictures from that night.

Augustana

Grandma got ran over by an open mic...

Tis the season to spread love, joy, and of course, music. So to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, a few friends and I hosted a open mic/ Christmas party/ birthday party. It was one eventful evening filled with so much talent, along with food, a Christmas photo booth, mustaches, and exchange gifts. Such beautiful music performances were spread throughout the whole night, and the sight of Christmas sweaters everywhere made it a festive one. Here are some shots from the event..

The night played out perfectly, better than I expected that's for sure! Thanks to all the performers and thanks to everyone who came out that night, it was great to see all of you. Hope you guys had a wonderful time

The Civil Wars

On the day of my birthday, my friend and I, who by the way was also celebrating his birthday on the same day, went all the way out to Charlottesville, Virginia to watch The Civil Wars live.

Now what better way to celebrate our birthdays than by watching a live performance of one of our favorite duos.

I madly heart these two, I mean, whats not to love about Joy Williams and John Paul White?! They are far better than any duo group I can think of. The both have perfect harmonies, incredible range, and such powerful voices. It was hard for me to believe that I wasn't just watching them on you tube, but I was actually adoring their unbelievable voices and their infectious chemistry just a couple feet away. Goodness gracious, these two can undoubtedly deliver an astounding performance, which by the way made me all squrmish inside! If you haven't heard their beautiful tunes, I highly suggest you check them out!

Before The Civil Wars took place on the stage, Milo Greene opened up the show. I was kinda disappointed in myself for not knowing who they were before hearing them live because they are the bees knees!
They certainly set an enthusiastic performance, I have never seen so many concert goers awed and speechless after a performance. Not only was I amazed at their flawless four piece harmonies, but also the fact that after every song they switched instruments. Milo Greene is definitely worth checking out. I hope to see them again live in the near future.
  Overall it was a beautiful performance, beautiful night, and a beautiful birthday.

Last Saturday, spent a beautiful night performing at Sixty-Six Beans coffee shop with a few friends.Its always a pleasure jamming out with these talented boys.

 A stop to Krispy Kreme donuts made the night just perfect.
