Wedding details

This post is way overdue but here are the pictures of all the details and decoration from our wedding--finally!

The photos were taken by the talented Ica (Icaimages) who did an amazing job capturing every bit of detail that filled our venue.

There was plenty of indecisiveness when it came to deciding on the theme of the wedding. We went from rustic vintage to a popart whimsical theme, and eventually settled with a flowy bohemian theme. At the time both of us were students finishing school so money was extremely tight, but we both were fine with that matter. We've always been crafty folks who know how to stretch a buck. After weeks of searching all over Maryland we finally found our venue and the next step was to search for wedding décor supplies. I found myself visiting thrift stores twice a week hunting for unique teacups, vases, and anything else that would work with our motif. Since we went for the soft bohemian feel we wanted to fill our wedding with tons of yarn, feathers, and succulents. We ended up handcrafting lots of macrame hangings, yarn wrapped bottles, and cute succulent teacups.Took months to craft everything but it was so worth it to see eveything come together. Thanks to all our friends and family who took the time to help with crafting and helped me with all the details.

The super talented whimsical artist Zet Gold designed this special piece for Josh and I, which we used for stickers and the programs.
The amazing Kelley Unthank did such an amazing job creating our seating chart for the reception.
